Bubble Coral

Bubble Coral, scientifically known as Plerogyra sinuosa, is a captivating LPS (Large Polyp Stony) coral, renowned for its distinctive appearance. Its fleshy, bubble-like vesicles, which can vary in color from translucent white to green or blue, expand during the day to maximize light absorption. At night, these bubbles retract to reveal the coral’s stony skeleton and long, sweeping tentacles used for capturing food. Bubble Corals are relatively hardy and can thrive in moderate light and water flow conditions. They require regular feeding with meaty foods like brine shrimp and mysis shrimp to maintain their health and vibrant appearance. With proper care, Bubble Corals can add a unique and beautiful element to marine aquariums.
