Banded houndshark

The Banded houndshark (Triakis scyllium) is a species of houndshark found primarily along the coast of Japan, preferring temperate waters. This shark is known for its distinctive color pattern, characterized by dark bands across its lighter, grayish-brown body. It is a bottom-dwelling species that typically inhabits shallow, coastal environments.
