Blue dot grouper

The Blue dot grouper (Cephalopholis argus), also referred to as the Argus grouper or Peacock grouper, is characterized by its blue-spotted, dark brown body. Originating from the Indo-Pacific region, this fish is recognizable by its numerous blue spots and hefty body shape. While it's an attractive species, its large size and aggressive nature make it less common in the aquarium hobby.
