The Blue ring angelfish, or annularis angelfish (Pomacanthus annularis), features a striking coloration that includes various shades of blue with vibrant yellow and orange hues around the eyes and pectoral fins. Native to the Indo-Pacific region, this species showcases a tall, laterally compressed body with distinctive blue and black rings. Growing up to 45 cm in length, it is visually recognizable and is fairly popular within the aquarium hobby due to its vivid colors and patterns, however, its size and care requirements present challenges for some aquarists.
