Bluespotted stingray

The Bluespotted stingray (Neotrygon kuhlii) is a vibrant marine fish featuring a bright blue and green coloration on a predominantly brown body, making it highly distinctive. This species has a round, flat body with a long, slender tail equipped with venomous spines for defense. It is native to the shallow coastal waters of the Indo-Pacific region. Although striking in appearance, the Bluespotted stingray is not frequently encountered in the aquarium hobby, primarily due to its specific care requirements and potentially dangerous sting.
