More about Bullnose eagle ray

The Bullnose eagle ray (Myliobatis freminvillei) is characterized by its distinctive flat body and broad, rounded snout, which differentiate it from other eagle rays. It typically has a dark brown or grayish color on its upper side, with a lighter, often white underside. This species originates from the western Atlantic, ranging from New England to the Gulf of Mexico and even as far south as Argentina. In terms of appearance, it features a wide, pectoral fin disc, which is much broader than it is long, and a long, slender tail. The Bullnose eagle ray is not commonly known in the aquarium hobby, largely because its size and habitat requirements make it impractical for private aquaria.
