They prefer a stable environment with water temperatures maintained between 24°C and 28°C. The pH levels should remain within 8.0 to 8.4 to match their natural habitat conditions. As they have moderate popularity, acquiring them from reputable breeders or suppliers is advisable.

Feeding

The diet of a Dilectus dottyback should be varied to ensure proper nutrition. They thrive on a mix of high-quality pellets, frozen foods such as brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp.
