Eight line wrasse Profile

The Eight line wrasse (Pseudocheilinus octotaenia) is a brightly colored fish, featuring a deep reddish-purple body with eight distinct horizontal white stripes. This species is native to the Indo-Pacific region. It has a slender body shape, typical of wrasses, and can grow up to about 12 cm (4.7 inches) in length. While it exhibits striking colors and patterns, it is not among the most popular or well-known in the aquarium hobby, partly because its care requirements and aggression towards other tank mates can be challenging.
