Fine-spotted fairy wrasse

The Fine-spotted fairy wrasse (Cirrhilabrus punctatus) exhibits vibrant colors with a dominant red or pink hue, decorated with numerous fine white to pale blue spots across its body. Originating from the Western Pacific Ocean, including areas around Indonesia and the Philippines, this species flaunts a streamlined body typical of wrasses, with males often showcasing more intense colors and longer fins than females. Despite its striking appearance, the Fine-spotted fairy wrasse is not among the most prominent species in the aquarium hobby, largely due to its specific care requirements and less frequent availability compared to other fairy wrasses.
