Golden heart trigger

The Golden heart triggerfish (Balistes punctatus) is characterized by its vibrant coloration primarily blue with unique golden-yellow markings around the pectoral fin region, resembling a heart. Native to the Western Atlantic Ocean, from Bermuda and the northern Gulf of Mexico to Brazil, this species showcases a robust, laterally compressed body typical of triggerfish. Despite its striking appearance, it is not among the most common species in the aquarium hobby, partly due to its aggressive nature and specific care requirements.
