Indigo hamlet

The Indigo hamlet (Hypoplectrus indigo) is a marine fish characterized by its vibrant indigo-blue color. This species originates from the western Atlantic Ocean, including areas around Florida, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean Sea. It has a compact, oblong body and can be recognized by its intense blue hue, occasionally with subtle yellow accents. Despite its striking appearance, the Indigo hamlet is not particularly well-known in the aquarium hobby, possibly due to its specific habitat requirements and relatively lesser availability compared to other ornamental fish.
