Masked butterflyfish

The Masked butterflyfish (Chaetodon semilarvatus) features a primarily yellow body with a distinctive black mask across its eyes. It originates from the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. Characterized by its bright yellow coloration and sleek, compressed body shape, it's recognizable by its unique facial mask. While admired for its striking appearance, it is not one of the most common species in the aquarium hobby, partly due to its specific habitat requirements and dietary needs.
