To accommodate this vibrant species, aim for a reef tank of at least 75 liters per fish to ensure ample swimming space and territories. The water temperature should be maintained between 24°C and 27°C, with a pH level of 8.1 to 8.4. The use of live rock, providing plenty of hiding spots and potential grazing areas, is highly advisable to replicate their natural environment and support their wellbeing.

Feeding

The Multicolor Angelfish requires a varied diet to maintain its health and brilliant coloration. Offer a mixture of marine algae, spirulina, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other high-quality angelfish preparations containing sponges. Since they are omnivores, incorporating both plant-based foods and proteins is crucial. Feed them small amounts several times a day instead of one large feeding to avoid overfeeding and ensure they receive a balanced intake throughout the day.

Behavior and Compatibility
