More about Radiata lionfish

The Radiata lionfish (Pterois radiata), also known as the Radial Firefish or Clearfin Lionfish, is distinguished by its white to cream color with numerous narrow, vertical dark stripes spanning its body. It possesses long, venomous fin spines as part of its striking appearance. Native to the Indian and Pacific Oceans, this species inhabits coral reefs and lagoons. Within the aquarium hobby, it is recognized but not as commonly kept as some other lionfish species, partly due to its specific care requirements and a preference for live food.
