Blackwedged butterflyfish

The Sickle Butterflyfish (Chaetodon falcula) is distinguished by its striking coloration, featuring a dominant white body accented with black bands and a yellow dorsal fin. This species is native to the Indian Ocean, easily recognizable by its unique appearance, which includes a sickle-shaped black band that extends from the dorsal fin to the bottom of its body. In the aquarium hobby, the Sickle Butterflyfish is relatively known but not as popular as some other species, due in part to its specific care requirements.
