Tiger tail seahorse

The Tiger tail seahorse (Hippocampus comes) is characterized by its vibrant yellow and black banded tail, which gives it the resemblance to a tiger's tail. Originating from the waters of the Western Pacific, particularly around Southeast Asia, this seahorse displays a slender body and a prehensile tail, allowing it to grasp onto seagrasses and corals. This species, while known among aquarists, is not as commonly kept in home aquariums as some other seahorses, partly due to its specific care requirements.
