❤️ Care

Arrow Crabs are relatively hardy and well-suited to marine aquariums, especially those with live rock setups. They thrive in a well-maintained tank with a stable temperature between 24-27°C (75-81°F) and a pH of 8.1-8.4. Given their natural habitat around coral reefs, Arrow Crabs appreciate having plenty of crevices and rock formations to explore and hide in.

  • Tank Size: Minimum 20 gallons.
  • Diet: Omnivorous, feeding on various aquarium pests such as bristle worms and feather duster worms. Supplement their diet with small pieces of meaty food, like shrimp or fish, to ensure they receive enough nutrition.
  • Temperament: Semi-aggressive; can become territorial, especially towards other crustaceans or small fish, so monitor their behavior in a community tank. Best kept with other sturdy tankmates.
  • Compatibility: Works well in reef tanks but may sometimes disturb smaller or more delicate corals.
