More about Condy Anemone
The Condy Anemone (Condylactis gigantea) is a striking and hardy marine invertebrate, known for its large size and vibrant colors, which can range from white to shades of pink, purple, or green. It thrives in temperatures between 24-28°C and a pH range of 8.1-8.4, reaching a maximum size of up to 30 cm in diameter. Preferring moderate to high lighting and moderate water flow, the Condy Anemone typically anchors itself in rock crevices or sandy substrates. Although not a natural host for clownfish, it is popular in reef aquariums for its impressive appearance and relative ease of care compared to other anemones. Commonly available in the aquarium trade, it is considered a good choice for beginner aquarists.
