The Nassarius thrives in a saltwater environment with a pH level of 8.1. It is crucial to maintain these conditions consistently to replicate their natural habitat. While these creatures are low maintenance, they do require a specific setup:

• Substrate: A sandy substrate is ideal for Nassarius snails. They love to bury themselves in sand which is a part of their scavenging nature.
• Tank Size: A moderate to large tank, ideally 10 gallons or more, will provide enough space for them to move and scavenge.
• Filtration and Circulation: Moderate water movement and proper filtration are important to keep the water quality optimal for Nassarius.

Feeding

Nassarius are scavengers by nature and do well with a diet that includes leftover food and detritus found in the substrate. However, to ensure they are well-nourished:

• Supplement their diet with frozen or pellet foods that sink to the bottom of the tank.
• Feeding frequency can be around three times a week, depending on the availability of detritus and leftovers in the tank.
