Borneo glass catfish

The Borneo glass catfish, also called Kryptopterus bicirrhis, is a translucent, almost completely transparent fish, showcasing a subtle iridescence that reveals its bones and internal organs. This unique appearance has made it a fascinating species for fish enthusiasts. Originating from the rivers and streams of Borneo, Indonesia, this slender, ghost-like catfish reaches lengths of up to around 15 cm (6 inches).
