The Naso Tang, originating from the Indo-Pacific region, is a vibrant and popular addition to marine aquariums. Tank Setup

Creating an ideal environment for the Naso Tang requires careful consideration of the tank size and water conditions. A minimum of 300 liters per fish is recommended to ensure ample swimming space, as Naso Tangs are active swimmers. The water temperature should be maintained between 22°C and 26°C, with a pH range of 8.1 to 8.4. It's important to provide plenty of open swimming areas along with some live rock structures that mimic their natural habitat. Feeding

Naso Tangs are primarily herbivorous and thrive on a diet rich in marine algae. Offering a variety of seaweed, along with high-quality marine algae flakes and pellets, supports their dietary needs. Supplement their meals with occasional blanched vegetables like spinach or lettuce. While they are herbivores, an occasional meaty treat such as mysis shrimp can be provided to enrich their diet.

They can coexist with other species, but it's advisable to avoid housing them with other tangs or similarly shaped fish to reduce the chances of aggression.
