Tank Setup

Due to their potential size, ranging from 15 cm to 30 cm, each Tinfoil barb requires a minimum of 75 liters of water. They are social fish and should be kept in schools of at least six individuals. Ensure your tank accommodates this, providing ample space and optimally allowing them to dwell at the surface, mid-tank, and bottom levels of the aquarium. Tinfoil barbs are mildly territorial and moderately semi-aggressive. Consider their nature when choosing tankmates to prevent conflicts. Feeding

Breeding

Breeding Tinfoil barbs in captivity can be challenging. They become slightly more aggressive during breeding periods, so ensure that the tank is adequately spacious and provides hiding spots for other tank mates.
